Today was a really fun day. Roz and her (tiny) new dog, Jack Jones, came over for a play date. He is so little and just so much fun. Brady had a great time playing with him and chasing all 6 pounds of Jack around the yard and house. Reese just sort of stared at him with a look on his face like he was saying,
"Seriously, dog... you're smaller than ME - and I'm a cat." And as always, it is wonderful seeing Roz.
(She is the graduate assistant that has been working with me for the last 2 years. She's about to move to California to take on her first full-time job as Fitness Coordinator at UC-Davis. She is an absolute shining star, and I will miss her very much. She's going to be hugely successful. I am so proud of her.) After that, we had Matt, Sam, and their 2 little boys (2 months and 22 months) - and Mitch, Lauren, and their twin 7 month old girls, and Ponch over for dinner. We grilled burgers (mmmm... so good) and just enjoyed a house full of babies, friends, and good times.
Now just getting ready for another busy week of work and other events. We have our first of 2 childbirth classes this Thursday from 6-9:15pm. I am really looking forward to them and learning a lot of useful information... but the next 2 Thursdays will be loooooong. Here's hoping for good sleep. ;)
